Microsoft has transitioned the Xbox Marketplace and all store fronts that use Microsoft Points to use local currency. Over the past few weeks xbldb has been slowly migrating to real currency. The migration has been slow to lessen the impact on the site.
I am glad to announce that the transition to real currency is complete but there is at least one annoying side effect. Most items had a change in price from being a dollar amount ($5.00, $10.00 etc.) to being $X.99 cents ($4.99. $9.99 etc.). This once cent change is causing the site to think most sales or price drops have expired. The page that is affected most is the current deals, since that page automatically tries to remove expired deals, other pages will still list them but say they are expired.
Thus I am posting the following disclaimer:
Note: Not all deals have expired check the price manually before not purchasing something, this is a side effect of the transition to real currency.
